When he suffered a workplace accident more than 25 years ago, J.J. Neigemann of Illinois developed arthritis along with diabetes and high blood pressure that forced him to retire early. But when a friend introduced him to cannabis oil, it allowed him to reduce the 18 pain medications he was taking, and he says his health just got better and better.

When she was 12 years old, River contracted acute myeloid leukemia, which is a cancer of the bone marrow and blood. She briefly underwent conventional treatment but the chemotherapy left her with no immune system and she contracted an incredibly rare fungal infection that spread to her brain and left her blind. After 11 months in the hospital and being treated with antifungals, she was sent home. Her mother administered cannabis oil and over the ensuing months she fully recovered, although she remains blind. He spent 8 years in a wheelchair after being officially diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1998. Kevin Leeper of Ohio was on multiple medications for his MS and his weight ballooned to 300 pounds. But in 2014 he started smoking cannabis and a year later he quit all of his MS medications. MRI scans showed his lesions decreased in size, and he was able to put his wheelchair in storage and he lost about 160 pounds. While still using a walker, he says his MS symptoms are now mild.
In the summer of 2022, Luke Goodwin of the UK was driving his wife to work when he began experiencing a severe pain in his side and had to pull over and call for an ambulance, which didn’t arrive for 8 hours. When he did make it to hospital he was originally diagnosed with kidney stones but, after tests were performed, he was told he had leiomyosarcoma—a rare type of cancer that grows in the smooth muscles. Doctors gave him 12 months to live. However, his use of cannabis oil is shrinking his tumors and he’s winning his battle with the disease.
