Four weeks after giving birth to her second child in 2017, Ashlee Williams of Alberta, Canada was diagnosed with aggressive, triple positive breast cancer–one of the most aggressive types of breast cancer. Refusing chemo and radiation, she undertook dietary changes and began using cannabis oil. When the breast cancer returned two years later, she underwent a right breast mastectomy. In January of this year, her CT scan showed she was “clear of all disease.”
WHAT A GREAT INTERVIEW! I AM A FELLOW BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR, AND I HAD TEARS STREAMING DOWN MY FACE LISTENING TO PARTS OF THIS.
(ASHLEY, CORRIE WAS THE ONE WHO GUIDED ME TOO)
WELL DOWN ASHLEY AND CHR!
THIS INTERVIEW IS BEYOND INSPIRATIONAL!
Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom, very brave to be vulnerable in this public forum! I can say with absolute confidence that you’ve indeed inspired 1 individual and I’m sure there are countless touched individuals grateful for your story. I’m writing to figure out with more clarity how much medication you were taking after your first cancer diagnosis and did you stay at that dose or titrate up during your remission. How much did you add after the remission. I have heard Dr. Uma speak about how important it is to take the whole plant so I still need more education about whether or not ratio’s effect whether or not the whole plant is being given. Dr. Uma is amazing, I recommend checking out her on google 🙂 I was dx in Nov. 2020 with breast cancer, double mastectomy in Dec. 2020. I’m taking the whole plant in the capsule form and it’s so difficult to get the right information because health officials have to keep their mouths shut or lose their license. This prohibited optimum health for me in a state where it’s legal. Thank you Ashlee and NPR!
May I say with pride that this girl is my best friend on the planet, and is every bit as brave and amazing in real life as she comes across in this brilliant interview. I am so proud of you Ash, this step into the light is a huge accomplishment to add to your growing list. I love you forever, my soul sis.
Good decision making. I’m wondering if your intravenous vitamin c was helpful. Would you recommend it? I am currently on chemo and cannabis. I have lung/ colon cancer.
Ashlee, your story is amazing and gives me and many other so much hope. One thing I really hope for apart from you staying clear of the C, is your dad did not go with the surgery. My husband did and it was one single horrendous life and soul destroying experience. Not just that, the cancer came back metastized (it was local before) and now he is told incurable (before the op they were pushing him in into this dangling the word ‘cure’ in front of him). I wish I tried harder to stop him doing the op. All the best to you, your family and dad!
It’s inspiring to hear about Ashlee Williams’ journey with resilience.
